**Sitting in the fridge**
Last Summer, Liam was really too little to do anything besides look at stuff. We went to the park, and the zoo, but he couldn't interact with anything but his binkie. This summer will be very different, I predict.
I was out for a while, and as I always do, I asked Lester what they did. Apparently, my little boy likes to go down the slide in the front -- headfirst. As soon as he's at the bottom, I hear, he begins shouting 'mo mo' (means more) and runs back up to do it again. I have yet to see this feat, partly because it sounds a little dangerous, and partly because Liam's not feeling all that well lately.
Yesterday we went to the doc, to see if he had yet another ear infection. The good news? No ear infection. The bad news? Pnuemonia. So we are taking it easy for a few days, to let the antibiotic kick in. The weather isn't very nice anyway, so being inside is less of a hassle.
Last weekend, the weather was ok. Devin has a new wading pool, so we headed over to check it out. The 'frog' pool fits on the front porch, and as is the case with any activity involving water, it was a hit. Our friend Kaylie (5 months old now) was there for a little while too, but she got cold. That's the update for now. Hopefully by the next update, there will be news of a complete recovery, and lots of fun outside.
As of 5/29/08 Liam weighed 24.5 pounds and was 29 inches tall.
